Excursion to the KAI Training and Research Hangar (National Aviation University)
The KAI Training Hangar is the largest educational aviation hangar in Ukraine and Europe, covering an area of 7,200 square meters. It houses a unique collection of real civil aviation aircraft from Ukraine.
Unique Exhibition features aircraft from different eras, including:
Planes: ANT-7, An-2, An-24, L-410, Yak-42, Tu-154
Helicopters: Mi-2, Mi-4, Mi-8, Ka-26
Aircraft Engine Collection:
Engines from An-2, Tu-154, Su-27, An-22 "Antey," An-124 "Ruslan," An-225 "Mriya," as well as Mi-2, Mi-8, Mi-6, and Mi-26 helicopters.
Rockets and Weaponry
The exhibition includes models of weapons and rockets used in warfare, such as:

A guided missile from the S-300 air defense system

X-22 and X-55 missiles

Models of aviation bombs: FAB-250, FAB-500

A gun from a self-propelled anti-aircraft system, training guns, machine guns, and other types of aviation weapons

About the Thematic Excursion
During the excursion, students will have the chance to feel like real pilots by stepping into the cockpits of airplanes and helicopters. They will also experience the work of aviation engineers by participating in the visual inspection of a "cold" engine start of an L-410 aircraft and Mi-2, Mi-8 helicopters, as well as testing the flap control system of a Yak-42 passenger plane.
The tours are led by professional aviation guides. Photo and video recording is allowed during the excursion.
Each participant will receive pleasant souvenirs, and group leaders will be given special commemorative gifts.
Excursion duration: 1 - 1.5 hours. Age restrictions: None.
Thematic excursions for groups are conducted on weekdays – from Monday to Friday.

The first excursion starts at 10:00 AM.

The last excursion starts at 4:00 PM.
Group Composition
The number of participants per group: from 9 to 25 people.
If the group exceeds 25 people (30-50 participants), it will be divided into two parts, and the excursion will be conducted simultaneously with two guides.
Meeting Point
At the scheduled time, the group arrives at the following address: Kyiv, Lyubomyra Huzara Avenue, 1, Building 8 (near the An-26 aircraft). Parking on the university premises is available upon prior arrangement.
Rules of Conduct and Safety
The group is met by a guide who, before the start of the excursion, informs participants about the rules of conduct and safety in the hangar, as well as the procedures to follow in case of an "Air Raid Alert" signal.

Weekends
Thematic excursions can be organized upon special request!
On weekends, the hangar is open for free viewing (without thematic excursions):
Cost: 100 UAH (child), 200 UAH (adult).
Free of charge: for combat veterans, preschool children, museum workers, members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM), and people with disabilities of groups I and II.
