An-26 is a turboprop military transport aircraft. The An-26 made its first flight on May 21, 1969. Serial production was organized at the Kyiv Aircraft Plant. On August 29, 1969, the first serial An-26 was released. Production of the aircraft continued until 1986. From 1969 to 1986, 1,403 An-26 aircraft were produced.
