The AN-72 is a Soviet military transport aircraft developed by the Oleg Antonov Design Bureau in the 1970s. Also known by its codename Cheburashka due to its distinctive front fuselage, the aircraft has a number of features that have made it very popular in military and civilian operations.
As for the AN-72 with the UN registration number ES-NOB, it is one of the many examples of this type that have been or are being operated in various countries. As a rule, the aircraft of this model are used for both military and civilian purposes, including cargo transportation and rescue operations.
