History of the An-225 "Mriya"
 
The An-225 "Mriya" was created in 1988 by the Kyiv Antonov Design Bureau in the USSR. Until 2022, it remained the largest and most powerful aircraft in the world, capable of transporting ultra-heavy cargo.
 
Unfortunately, on February 27, 2022, during a russian airstrike on Hostomel Airport near Kyiv, this unique aircraft was destroyed. However, the Antonov company has announced plans for its restoration, aiming to continue the legendary story of "Mriya" for future generations.
