The aircraft UR-82029 belongs to the iconic Antonov AN-124 "Ruslan" fleet — one of the largest cargo aircraft in the world, developed by Ukrainian engineers. Operated by Antonov Airlines, this aircraft has taken part in critical global transportation and humanitarian missions.
After the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Antonov initiated a series of symbolic liveries under the name "Be Brave Like Ukraine." Each aircraft in this series carries the name of a Ukrainian city that has become a symbol of courage and resilience.
 
Bucha, a city in the Kyiv region, became tragically known around the world after horrific war crimes committed there by occupying russian forces in early 2022. Despite the unimaginable suffering, Bucha also became a powerful symbol of truth, justice, and the bravery of Ukraine.
 
In honor of this resilience, UR-82029 was adorned with the inscription "BE BRAVE LIKE BUCHA" in late 2022. This message, carried around the world on the side of one of Ukraine’s aviation giants, is a tribute to those who endured and to the enduring fight for freedom and dignity.
